This is the story of an extraordinary woman, Martha Crawford Cantarini and an unwanted horse, Frosty. Ms. Cantarini turned Frosty into a performing horse who worked in television and live shows. The bond between woman and horse was life changing for both of them. This is a perfect story for horse lovers, animal lovers, movie lovers (Ms. Cantarini was a stuntwoman) and anyone who just enjoys a good read.
Excellent book for all ages, animals lovers or not. Martha includes a wide variety of interest and facts for everyone to enjoy. Martha has a smooth easy-to-read style and she presents her stories so clearly with details in such a way for the reader to easily imagine themselves as a 'fly on the wall' observer as the story unfold before them. Martha not only tells the story, but she included tips and training techniques for any horse owners to use on their own horse. I find her stories as real page turners, so interesting and with vivid details, its hard to put this book down because I wanted to know what was on the next page.
